So what have we been doing lately? As well as working on the KAPS programme, we’ve been working with a range of organisations across East Africa to strengthen their teams and networks.
We’ve helped Tanzania-based solar company Off-Grid Electric launch its own Academy and have trained over 200 frontline staff and managers as the company ramps up operations across East Africa through a blended learning programme. We’re about to launch an online Academy for agribusiness firm Sidai Africa to reach its teams dispersed around rural Kenya. And we’ve just launched online social learning communities for staff at Cheki Kenya and Naked Pizza. We worked with the United States African Development Foundation on a course to help hundreds of entrepreneurs across Africa write business plans and we’re currently working with the U.S. Center for Private Enterprise on a management programme for non-profit organisations.
