The African Management Initiative and the Bertha Centre for Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship are leading an immersive workshop on how growth businesses can build management talent as they scale.
Finding, keeping and growing great talent is the greatest challenge that investable African enterprises face after access to capital. Growth businesses can face the biggest talent challenges, as they must often develop team members into management positions rapidly in order to scale. AMI will be running this experiential and practical workshop focusing on how growth businesses in South Africa can build a sustainable talent strategy.
The workshop is particularly aimed at leaders within early growth to growth stage businesses, or those who work for organisations who support those businesses (e.g. investors, incubators). The afternoon will be facilitated by Klara Michal, Chief Learning Officer at the African Management Initiative, and former CLO at the African Leadership University and dean of Global Learning at McKinsey & Co.
