Harley’s was faced with a unique opportunity – to give their senior management team a boost in their leadership and management skills to help them thrive. Harley’s Limited is recognized as one of the most respected Pharmaceuticals and Medical Equipment providers in East Africa, and have been growing steadily for years. Their Managing Director, Nishil Haria, identified an emerging need for his managers to become better equipped to handle the growing demands of their industry, and wanted to invest in his team to see improvements in both team and company performance.
AMI was brought in to lead a 3-month blended-learning programme for Harleys which was initially focused on the online courses that AMI provides, and the senior team made the commitment (and time) to go through the 6 courses they’d all agreed to do. But soon they realized that online isn’t enough, and that an in-person Learning Lab would greatly benefit the team in bringing some of the key concepts to life. In particular, Harleys saw a need to review their approach to customers – how they were thinking about their customer segmentation and marketing activities. They brought in an AMI facilitator to lead the discussion and offer expertise, and after a successful workshop, ended up with a plan to transform their approach to customers.

At the graduation for the programme, the senior team expressed deep gratitude and excitement about the programme – they felt that they had made really improvements in their skills as managers and business leaders. They even suggested a similar programme be run for the rest of their organization.
AMI designs and delivers customised learning programmes for a range of companies like Harleys. The content is always different, but the approach is the same – we focus on delivering real results for your organisation, through the people who matter – your employees.
